Mental Software

A good habit ive formed over the years to distangle immediate problems is what i like to call, psychotherapy jazz. Something i havent created. But simply, you just very typical to improv writing, but with psychotherapy, you just express yourself any old how, and what you say may be half right or less. The trick is to unbind what has been somewhat deeply implanted or rooted in your subconscience. It reminds me of the Inception film, when the main character talked about, mental sercurity software for our minds, How do you flush out your mind each day? psychotherapy jazz. Thats how! Usually half or less, or perhaps almost everything is untrue. Often you replace names with names that feel more comfortable to talk about. But the logic of the metaphor of storys you express, reveal hidden truths that you yourself has created or perhaps impressed upon you externally, without you knowing about it which is usually the outcome. TOday we are being harrassed by media advertisements, all of which attempting to conquer the space in our mind in order for us to ‘buy, buy, buy’, like programmed robots. Im not complaining because i like advertisments since it helps me to make educated decisions, but the sideeffects from mass communication in 2019 perhaps means our minds may have a small risk, that is simply, our minds may never leave the advertisement. I think people under stress catch themselves out sometimes, with the concept of ‘self talk’, much like the ball called Wilson in the movie Castaway. Perhaps this is just subs-conscience overload and a needed for a overall clean out and purification of self. Buddhists are really into purification ceremonies as, many other spiritual faiths these days. Perhaps as a western society we can develop some our own, as we are surrounded by high tech devices that help us communicate, but day by day, become further away from each other, but also, away from our own essence of personal being, then, we attack the last contact of self improvement, such as ‘self talk’ as an illness, instead as an emergency mechanism that the mind uses to find balance again. What have we become in 2019? I mean, we all have to know ourselves, live by ourselves and with ourselves. We cant escape ourselves so therefore, the version of self should be a good one. And this term of mental security, is moreso, developing openly techniques to clear away the clutter of the mind perhaps as often as needed. Somedays, it could be very oftern and somedays could be very little or not at all. I like the term psychotherapy jazz, especially in an information age, with smart phones. Information and knowledge are very fast moving objects, and therefore, to love oneself and love others as one loves himself, a christian ethic, we need to stop calling everyone “crazy” and start looking at psychotherapy jazz and self talk, in constructive ways. Because, due to the speed of information and knowledge these days. Another technique to suit the times in needed. And fast!

You also throw in the concept of ‘online bullying’ mixed in with the concept of ‘self talk’. You have two ideas that can be simultaneously misused and abuse to a compounded affect of damage and disharmony. Its 2018-2019 and this should not be.

Personally, my immediate concern is to identify these two concepts and harness them for good and maximize social cohesion. Personally, i think society is being swamped by online bullying concepts and abuse of ‘self talk’ dynamics, of such, that it is a crow bar to pry open a lodged object that is squeezed between and rock and a hard place. Misusing concepts like ‘self talk’, that arise under specific stress usually external, of which can be reproduced and most people would react the same, and also, the misuse of concepts of ‘online bullying’ are a very destructive mix. It seems its left nothing of the offline society of the 1980’s and 1990’s. Today we are online, but locked with much tighter restraints. Where online bullying can be targeted on a person, just with a glance to your own smart device. It alls interesting stuff.
